Frauke has been Chief People Officer (CPO) for more than two decades in various environments. Today she drives the AI transformation as part of the Board of the Viessmann Generations Group.
Before shifting her focus to AI, Frauke served as CPO, playing a pivotal role in the group’s evolution into a diversified portfolio company. As CPO at Zalando (2011 to 2018), she navigated one of Europe’s most iconic scaling stories, guiding the company from a 200-person startup to a DAX-listed corporation with 14,000 employees. She also held roles at Otto, McKinsey and SAP, giving her experience across a range of environments. She was named CHRO of the year in 2023.
Her true passion lies in organizational transformation and the human dynamics within it. She is a firm believer that in the age of AI, organizations are undergoing a massive fundamental shift that requires a new blueprint for leadership and structure.
As a Senior Advisor, Frauke partners with CEOs and CPOs ranging from established family-owned businesses to hyper-growth startups, helping them navigate the complexities of people and culture in an AI-driven world.

Most recently, she served as Senior Advisor for Org Design & Effectiveness at Viessmann Generations Group (2021-2025), where she led strategic initiatives leveraging AI to increase organizational performance and management impact. Her career includes pivotal consulting roles at Intraprenör (2018-2021) and Zalando (2015-2018), where she navigated high-growth scaling and cultural transformation.
Her work has been recognized with the HR Excellence Awards (2023 & 2019) in the categories people development and organizational consultancy. Her portfolio ranges from scaling skilling programs for 400+ engineers to implementing AI-powered org-wide transformation initiatives.
She is a firm believer that a company's ultimate competitive advantage lies not just in its tech stack, but in the "human stack" that powers it. Accredited in Hogan and Facet 5 personality assessments, Vera combines diagnostic data with strategic vision to design future-ready structures where both people and technology can have a positive impact.
